This notice explains what we do with your personal data when you use this site or meet us at an event. It is written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer in plain language.
Who is responsible
Holymolly Limited, at the address and email listed in the imprint above, is the controller for the data described here. We are based in Hong Kong, which means data you give us is processed outside the European Economic Area. Where our providers process it on our behalf, we use the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses; where you gave us your email address yourself, we process it on the basis of the consent you gave.
What we collect, and why
- Early-access form. Your email address, your optional answer to “What brings you here?”, and the time you submitted the form. We use it for one purpose: to send you an early-access invite and directly related product updates. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- At events. If you build something at our booth and ask us to email it to you, we store your email address together with the link to the world you created, so that we can send it. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Technical logs. Our hosting and content-delivery providers record the usual server data — IP address, browser and device type, requested file, timestamp — to keep the site available and to investigate abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure site, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We do not ask for anything else. There is no account, no payment data, and no profile.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no social-media plugins and no third-party trackers. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.
Who else sees your data
Only the people at HolyMolly who need it, plus the service providers that host our website, store our data and deliver our email. They act as processors on our instructions under Art. 28 GDPR and may not use your data for their own purposes. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Your email address: until you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than we need it for the invite programme.
- Event creations and the link we emailed you: up to 12 months after the event.
- Server logs: the short retention period set by our hosting and CDN providers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, have our use of it restricted, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
The fastest ways to use those rights:
- Reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any email you get from us and we delete your address.
- Or write to hello@holymolly.ai. We answer within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority in the EU member state where you live or work.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your data, we update this page and change the date at the top. We will not start using your address for a new purpose without asking you first.
